American Idol is Back With New Judges

America’s favorite talent hunt show is back on air with a few changes that will make some people wanting for more. There are two new judges in American Idol now. Steven Tyler will make his debut on American Idol along with other first timer Jeniffer Lopez. Randy Jackson will be retained in the panel of judges.

There was a lot of hype following the choice of new judges after getting rid of Ellen Degeneres. The reality series which is currently in its 10th season has seen some extremely successive acceptations rates by the American audience. This series has been on of those television series that has been mimicked again and again in various countries. The new series began on the 19th of January 2011. The response to the new series was not as much as expected by the producers, but shows hopes of improving. Improvement will only be seen if participation in the next coming episodes gets really good. The past season have seen some really talented participants who have been more successful in increasing the rating of the show than the over hyped judges.

People have begun complaining that the new episodes lack the mean judges that people are used to from the previous episodes. The first two episodes where judges had held preliminary rounds on Orlando have not seen much viewer ship. The show is being aired this season on Wednesday and Thursday nights as opposed to Tuesday and Wednesday nights. This season also has options where participants from remote parts of America can participate without their actual presence by submitting their performance via MySpace. The last date for submission of online auditions was on October tenth. If the shows viewer ship goes down any further, the producers will test with different judges. Steven Tyler has taken the silent approach and talks very little during the show. This is meant to give the Aerosmith front man that critical value.
